I wanted to check out some of the smaller bars in Cowboy, so after Afterskool a couple of days ago it was time to hit Jungle Jim's. I'd been there before. In fact, the single most beautiful bar girl I have ever seen was at Jungle Jim's June 2010. I was with TJ, and he immediate bar fined her. Lucky guy, if her service even came close to her looks.
Anyway, JJ's layout is pretty typical for a small bar. There are 6 small drink tables that you can sit at. A medium sized bar with the bartenders/cashiers behind and seating in front for customers. JJ also has a second bar seating area right behind the main bar. You can get a HJ in the bar but not a BJ (but, YMMV). For that you need to use the short time room upstairs.
Stairway going up in the front to the short time room as well as the rooms that some of the girls sleep in. ST room is one of the attractions of this bar. 250bt. I don't believe you have to BF the girl if you use the ST room, but I may be wrong there. 400bt BF, so the prices have not really changed since this thread started more than 5 years ago.
1 or 2 pleasant looking girls. I saw maybe 15 girls, but there may be more. 7 of them are dancers on the small stage. When I came in I was one of two customers. But, by 9pm most of the seats were taken. Seemed like a mix of tourists and locals. One local even brought his bar girl from the bar next door.
Diet coke was 85bt, 5bt cheaper than Afterskool. LD coke was the same price, 90bt. None of the girls jumped me like in Afterskool when I entered. Probably because I knew one of the girls and she latched onto me immediately. That, as regulars know, wouldn't have stopped the girls in Afterskool from surrounding me, but it did at JJ.
Local customers seemed pleasant. One struck up a conversation (mostly one sided) about how you have to set the rules for women. Brit, I think. Bit of an accent for me, but it was fun talking with him. His girl next to him had that dazed smile that said she had no idea what he was saying, but as long as he bought LDs she didn't care.
There's nothing exceptional about this bar. But, I can see where it would attract a loyal regular customer base.

Keep in mind that you may take any girl from Toy, Jungle Jim's, Moonshine or Fannie's to any of those 4 bars to drink without paying a barfine, due to single ownership. Can be useful when you' re trying to take two girls and you want to test the mixing and matching before committing to cash outlay.

mr tahoe......do you take written notes on your bar tours? Im sure bar ownwers would pay for good reviews. I hear its done elsewhere to fool people.

I don't take written notes. Long ago I used to write notes using my phone, but that would draw attention since most phones have cameras and most bars won't allow photos inside the bar.
I just try to remember stuff important to me. Occasionally I will ask another with me (like madfrog when we went to Las Vegas) if he agreed with my assessment of the quality of the girls, seating, or whatever. Sometimes the Ginko Biloba works better than at other times.
The only owner that I know/recognize is John from Afterskool. I don't particularly like him, as his treatment of the girls isn't up to snuff. (It is, however, the only place I have been given free drinks by the owner. The girls would be impressed, at least until I pointed out that I just spent 2,000bt on over-priced drinks and got a free 40bt beer or 14bt coke.)
Oh, I almost forgot that I also know John from Cactus Bar. More memorable for the food he serves than the quality of girls. As well as the quite funny e-mail list he runs.
A forum like this would be a bad place to write fake/biased reviews. That's because another member can write a follow on review and all forum member can see and react to it. Also, I doubt the effectiveness of any fake review. Not as many sheep here as in a blog like Stickman, who is for sure being paid at least for advertisements if not more.
