Has anyone been to Intermara where gogo bars for locals are?
I heard from some people in my country who have been to Intermara few times and said that it is a good place to go.
The quality of girls is not that high compared to nana, SC, or Potpong, but it was fun to go and see how local people are enjoying.
Can anyone share information about how to go there? which gogo bar is the best one? etc.

Inthamara is the name of the sois off Sutthisan Winitchai Road, in the area otherwise known as Saphan Kwai. Go east from Paholyothin on Pradiphat Rd. and make the quick right-left jog, and there will be some bars on the right, as well as a few clubs on the left. Harlem Night has great 60s neon signage, but little else to recommend. Heading toward Ratchada, pickings are slim, but the soi where the 7-11 (north side of the street) is has a pretty happening club. I think I saw a recent thread that elaborates.
The action starts after 10PM, and is Thai oriented. As with all P4P venues, there are diamonds-in-the-rough, but you had better speak some Thai, and be mindful that you are not in the farang ghetto. Smile and be polite, because the locals may not appreciate farang competition for limited puying resources.
It was a real hot spot in the 60s (so I've heard).
Search for Saphan Kwai, and find a lot more in previous threads.

Maybe, it was due to misspelling.

Does anyone happen to know anything about the history of this area? There were a lot of US military guys based in the area back in the 1960s at places like the Capital Hotel, the Liberty Hotel, Seri Court, so it seems quite possible that it might have started as a strip of American-oriented bars back then. However, I've talked to a few guys who were in Bangkok back then and none of them seems to have any recollection of the place.
