It was Saturday night, 8:45, almost prime time, right? I hadn't been to Patpong for quite a while, as in, why bother? Well I'd read that a new Agogo had opened on the Pong. Shocking news; I couldn't conceive of such a thing, so I had to go see it.
At the entrance was one of the cutest Thai cuties I've seen; exactly my body type, looking wonderful despite her harshly curly hair. She had latched onto me, and I couldn't say no.
So she dragged me into Bada Bing and sat me down.
For those who are not into reading further, she was almost as good as her bar was bad.
I thoroughly perused the drinks menu, but could find nothing for less than 140 baht. No happy hour, tho happy hour was still on across the road at Club Electric Blue. On seeing the stupid prices, I understood why I was the only customer.
But I was in, and Miss แอน, next to me on the comfy couch, was most desirable. So I weakened and bought an expensive beer and an equally-expensive lady drink for the little brown angel.
Miss แอน claimed that this was only her third day in the big bad BKK, and her second working as a hello girl at Bada Bing. Despite her faux pas of smoking a cigarette outside, when I met her, she quickly stomped on her butt when I objected. I was ready to walk away, as I normally do from smokers, but her butt-stomping ability, along with her serious cuteness, kept me in her grasp.
So we walked in and sat down. I managed to quell my usual cheap Charlie reaction, sucked it up, and agreed to a 140 baht beer and lady drink at the same price.
The onstage dancing by 4-5 non-stunning ladies in full bikinis was not worth the price of my beer, but the tempting newbie LBFM who was getting increasingly comfortable with me, was well worth the exorbitant prices of admission. I was sorely tempted to BF this cute newbie from remotest Isaan, but her cigarette smoking forced me to leave her to you horny smokers.
So I paid the check-bin, tipped her 100 baht for the wonderful privilege of experiencing her cute smile very close-up, and fled the doomed scene at Bada Bing.
This bar has little chance of doing well as it's currently set up. They desperately need to start some Pattaya-like happy hours to have any chance of surviving.

In contrast to the OP, I found Bada Bing a refreshing change. THe soft couching that runs around the outside of the bar must be the most comfortable seating to be found in any BKK go-go bar. The decor was swish, I found the girls dancing were for the most part both attractive and enthusiastic, although there were the usual 1 or 2 shufflers. I didn't notice the drinks prices as I didn't ask for a menu, I just ordered what I wanted.
The mamasan is VERY pushy, and the 2 rather large Thai men wearing open black suits with black shirts were cleary menacing in the way they hung around the back end of the bar and just stared at all the customers.
Definetly worth a look in IMHO but agree they need to iron out some kinks which for me were the heavies and the mamsan.
I also checked out Black Pagoda, VERY worth a look-in if you like the bar and sexy girls all to yourself in the darkness of the couches !

I didn't say it was closed.
This bar has had quite a few owners (among 2 board members in succession).
Both RTB and Stephane owned this bar but failed after some time and changed hands again.

As I mentioned in my FR, I had a great time at this place a couple of nights ago.
I agree with some of the things thailien said in his initial post, the drink prices are on the high side and they need a happy hour. But I thought the dancers were hot enough and they had great, playful attitudes and were not pushing for LDs. And the night I was there they had hired in a set of coyote dancers that were as hot as any I have seen recently. The place has a nice plush look to it, and I like being able to sit up close at the center dance stage (ala Pattaya style).
They need more girls and they need more customers. But I wish them the best of luck because the place was like a breath of fresh air in Patpong.
