I had noticed this place under construction last month, now it's already open, called Sahara, located opposite Midnight on Soi Cowboy. The bar is all white inside, with white leather couches running along each wall, still covered in plastic, with a long stage between. There are coyote dancers and house dancers. Several of the coyote dancers, and also some of the house dancers looked very good, but not many customers were present. The biggest problem of the layout is that you're not sitting very close to the girls, unlike a place like Tilac.
Lady drinks were 200 baht for a coyote lady drink, or 150 baht for a house dancer. I had one of each on each arm as soon as I sat down, and the coyote wouldn't come down to 150 so I just bought the house dancer a drink. I had a Chivas Regal Scotch Whiskey, on the rocks, for 155.
Basically the same format as Rio, Deja Vu, Kiss, and Spice Girls. Nothing new or imaginative here.

Koolbreeze and I spent from about 11pm until just after mid-night here. Everything that TA said I agree with. I wonder if he and I would agree on which girls looked good.
About 10 coyote girls. They danced in 2 sets. They don't BF and, as stated by TA, LDs are 200bt.
About 10 dancers, who were topless when we arrived and later went to just 4-inch belts around their hips. I didn't find many of the attractive, but KB said he thought about 25% were good looking (dancers and coyote). Some of them danced on the small tables on the RHS as you come into the bar.
The coyote girls, for the most part, were not very good dancers. 1 or 2, here and there, danced well - but the rest mostly shuffled.
Place almost completely empty. 1 guy (other than us) there when we left.
One final note, the bathroom (upstairs) had an attendant. I just hate that. No tip from me.

of course they are "18". but a "pig" is definitely way to young. she must be at least a "monkey".

While I was there I didn't see any obvious young ones. Of course, they could have been there and I didn't notice. Or, they were already BF'ed for the night (ugh). Seems like a number of bars in Cowboy need to be watched for this.

I love the 4-inch belt idea - I find it really sexy - but the Arab guy just spoils his bars by filling them with too many coyotes - wearing too many clothes and not barfineable. What's the point?
The trouble is now that a lot of the better-looking girls are getting into the business with the idea that they just dance and don't have to take their clothes off, let alone be barfined and..shock horror.. have sex... and yet guys will still throw money at them. It didn't use to be this way.
Similarly, most of the girls in Rainbow 4 have grown into the idea that they don't have to go topless (although, at least, they're barfineable). Owners there should tell them to get those tops off and advertise those wares. Why not? Rainbow 4 is the biggest bar. It should have the clout. But there are only a couple of girls there who go nude...
As soon as I walk into a SC bar and see nothing but unbarfineable coyotes in too many clothes, I walk out. I wish every guy would do the same, then the owner would give up this model.

No, but I met Bow when I was at the Sahara last month. She is 23, been working at Sahara for 3 months, and doesn't barfine.

haha, there are SOOOOooooo many bars on Cowboy with 15 year olds working in them. luckily, I don't even look twice at any woman under 35, haha.

I went into Sahara last week and saw a very hot Chiang Mai girl dancing with nothing on but a white 4 inch belt. Soon my little Chiang Mia nymphet is beside me. I started chatting her up, suddenly the intruding mamasan interjected the bar fine is 700 baht. Jesus this f***ing bitch knows how to piss me off. I tell her go away.
I order my little dancer a lady drink and myself another drink. We have a very comfortable chat, this lady is charming. She is passing all my screening points and looks like a go for me. One her bar friends sits down with us. She is a girl from Buriram, nice looking. But, has one child.
I order her a lady drink for her, pesky mamasan (Jid) approaches and asks for a lady drink. I say no! The two girls and I are having a little party. Each time I order drinks, Jid the mamasan asks for a drink. I finally reluctantly say yes, just trying to get rid of her.
The next time I order drinks, she’s back asking. I tell her no! I buy you drink, it's your turn to buy me a drink! Jid tells me she cannot do, the owner here. I tell her your turn to buy me drink or I go. I pay my 2,000 baht bar tab not including the 700 baht BF.
I even had to ask the mamasan Jid for my 300 baht change from the bar fine when it did not arrive after several minutes. Upon leaving I told Jid I would never be buying another drink in Sahara until she buys me a drink.
Yesterday I decide I want have another test ride of my little Chiang Mai tilac. I call her and make arrangements to meet her outside the bar. Guess who is outside when I get there.
Then the last shoe drops, Bar Fines before 9:00 PM at Sahara are 800 baht. On top of regular bar fines of 700 baht. My girl was a sweetheart and I told her she should go to another bar to work. The Sahara is a bar I will not be frequenting.
