Took a cutie from a local foot massage place out due to the very small accomodations they have. I went with the lady to Hollywood ST Hotel 2nd floor Nana Plaza. To my surprise and embarrassment it was closed at 1pm on Monday.
Does anyone know what gives ? Have they closed up shop for good or was it just a fluke ? I am busy with work so I can not easily go there to see myself. And I don't want to repeat the disappointment with lady in toe again.
BTW, 2 points of info
I find this hotel to be quite good. Small rooms but well appointed and modern and clean.
2nd, there was a guy who pointed us to the back corner on the 3rd floor Nana where there was another place with rooms that were quite adequate.... nice double bed with shower with good hot water and nice colored lights for mood setting. Will go there again if necessary.

Hollywood was 400B for 2 hours
The place in the back corner 3rd floor charged us
300B / 2 hours

yeah, and the place in the back corner of 3rd floor (used it many times) is a shitty dive - and that's being kind.
I'd rather pay $3 more for a nice and clean place that is well maintained.

Agree about the $3 but I don't think its accurate to call the back place a dive. I found it adequate for room, cleanliness, hot water, towels, service [she brought us cokes], etc.
My experience with Star Inn on Soi 7/1 is much less favorable. Tiny rooms, luke warm water, aircon lousy, etc.
I find most small hotels will have a ST rate if you ask. It will be higher than 3-400 baht but usually is a much nicer experience.
There used to be a great ST room near Soi 0 top floor but the building was renovated and it is gone for about 2 years now.
