Get we observed in the bars?
Last week in the DC 10 bar ( Nana 2.floor ) around 1.50 A.M. the T.V. in the bar switched off the regular running satellite program and the dancing floor appears live at the scream, showing the girls dancing and the customers who been sitting behind the stage. ( including showing their “games “ with the girls ).
I know there is ( or was ) at NanaPlaza.com a live cam offer. The question is, when these cameras a running?.
For a lot of reasons it should be clear mentioned before we enter a bar, that this bar is offering this live cams before it’s too late and we are published www…
Who knows how much cams are in Nana and where I can find myself online in the net?

DC10 has always been a shit hole, at least for the last 15 years.
However, this report has all the earmarks of a scare tactic by someone with an ax to grind against this aprticular bar.
Anyone could make the same accusation against any place (and they have against Eden for example)
So it's a cheap shot.

No chateaujade, the post has not the purpose to run DC10 down, definitely not!
It’s DC10 because I was there and I’m customer in this “shit hole” for long time and never had any complains. It’s even much better than the bars downstairs with their “un personal” business behavior. It’s kind of cozy and one of the bests, where 70th music played in Nana.
I don’t think that they (the Thai bar owners) really understand, what possibilities and potential threats are involved with the installation of a web cam. Probably, someone offer them money (or maybe they pay less now?!) and the cam was installed. Who knows.
I like to know when I get observed and I like to know where else are these cams. Everybody should have a choice to choose to get public…
Just for curiosity I like to know also what’s the purpose.
To make it clear, I’m in business (not redlight) for nearly a decade in Thailand, I have not to hide myself, but for example:” if I go with a customer in a bar and this bar would publish via www, it could caused some major problems for him.”
Again,
who knows where else are cams running in our “cozy family pubs” and where are they published.

I've seen a webcam in the Huntsman at Landmark. Its at the corner of the bar closest to the band and pointed at the band. Look up to where the bar meets the ceiling in that corner and you'll see a discreet little camera. Wonder how many other they have and what they do with the feed.

Newbies posting unverified & unverifiable tidbits that seem to be designed to frighten the credulous into staying away from particular venues...let's just say I'll suspend my belief,about this, Silom, till your credibility is something greater than its present zero. Anyone who wants to give you more believability than that at this point is doing so on sufference. I don't recommend it.
Let's hear from some BELIEVABLE REGULARS as to whether or not DC10 is videotaping, monitoring, webcaming, etc its customers and girls. (Which would be STUPID.)
As to the Huntsman Pub, well, if they want to webcam their band, who gives a damn? Speculating about other webcams there that even you, newby, haven't found, is bootless. All you are doing is trying to create some paranoia. Not a very good job of it, I must say. Are you sure you are old enough to be allowed in the Hunstman Pub?
A newbie with 4 posts (two of them about this) is well, about as sweet smelling as week dead squid drying on the beach at Hua Hin.

Err .. was just stating that I happened to see a webcam / camera pointed in the direction of the band at the pub in landmark. Nothing more or nothing less... and was curious about what these cam feeds were used for? Of all the places.... the camera at the huntsman should be the most harmless and least worrying to the populace here.
Bet you a beer you'll find the camera if you follow the directions.

The spleen was mostly vented in what was intended to be Silom's direction, sorry if some splashed on anyone else.
Agreed, Hunstman = harmless, esp when putative webcam is pointed at the band and no other webcams have been spotted there.
DC10 is another matter and I won't believe it till a brother I trust says he saw it with his own eyes.
No place for such devices in Thailand's niteries.
