Yes it is true
Panya Indra is the biggest whorehouse in Thailand.
It looks like a golf club and it plays like a golf course.
However the caddies are the best looking caddies you have ever seen. Most of them would easily fit in any of the bars or MP's downtown. They are fun to be with and it is possible to take them off of the course. Not quite as easy as at the bar, but it is possible.
Also you can play on the course with your caddie, unless you are an asshole about it.
For those of you that like to play golf and cruse the bars - this place is a must. I know several people who have long time girlfriends from there, and they are stunners.
It is located out towards the safari park just off the Ramindra road

There's a multi-level mall right next to Patpong that has a few golf shops. It seemed like the mall was geared towards the average Thai businessman or woman, so I expect it not to be outrageously expensive. I'm no expert, though.
But why wouldn't you just rent them from the golf course? It would probably be cheaper and more convenient unless you plan on playing dozens of times.

Kman, take a look at Discount Golf in Soi 26 (Soi Aree)...just round the corner from you. There is a driving range there as well where you can test out the clubs.

yup, thaniya mall has turned into quite a golfer's paradise in recent years. if you can't find it there, you probably can't find it anywhere else. not sure about the price, though. as always, shop around.
