Absolute Bangkok, is that the one at Narathiwas (Sathorn Tad Mai) ? Been there 2-3 years ago. Haven't been there since.
G28. Is that still open? It's on the penthouse level. I loved that place. Lots of non-working girls there. Not many farangs, if at all.
How about Bar-Bu-Ree on Ekamai?

Absolute Bangkok. The one I was thinking about is in RCA - a kinda stylish version of Route 66. With the new licensing laws I reckon that RCA will be the new Thonglor/Ekamai. Ezze/Code/Downtempo... new places coming soon.
G28. As I said never been there. But I like the Penthouse terrace feel. No idea whether it is still open.
Bar-Bu-Ree on Ekamai. I've been there. Laid back almost jungle style - thai place. Plays jazz though which sends me to sleep.
PS. My list is not deliberately obscure. I know that many members have been to Pump Up and a couple of been to Ashley's Rumor. Aqua is in the All Seasons (Regent) Hotel.

think absolute bangkok just moved to camp davis and now called absbang (or something like that).. was at the old place....
is debut cafe still alive?? I would have expected it to be closed long time ago... went there once but too big the arena... n empty..
for hor gor dor, no longer the in place.. crowd have moved on to booze area..

Bar Bu Ree was my regular hangout...close to home
Never seen Jazz there, you must have gone on a particular jazz night........
Great food....very chilled...probably my fave place in Bangkok...

zamzobar in soi 11 is kind of cool hang out for a very special thai crowd. restaurant is quite okay but not exceptional! going there once in a while!
pump up I don't comment on as you know it anyway. very special thing!
