Last time I was there I had my shirt torn and 200.00 baht taken by a LB as I approached a walkway by Soi 12.Reported the incident to the police at the urging of some bar girls. Concerned about going back as I am sure a group of the LB population knows of me and one of them may have been dealt with by the police. Guess I am a fraidy cat.

This is a problem which has existed for many years. Walkover are famous hideouts for LBs.
Another well known walkover is the one near the Bank of Asia (Glass House) near Sukh. 25.
Just look mean. I've had many trying to do 'business' with me but not one of them has ever touched me.
The police knows, of course.

They'll remember you, but don't get all bent out of shape about it. You're not the first to report them, you won't be the last. Chances are you'll never see them again. Any advice I could give you on how to handle the situation if you do see them again would just be speculation, so about the only thing I can recommend if you don't want to have to deal with it is take a cab. The buck or 2 it would cost for peace of mind would be worth it.
Or you could do like I do, and travel with my TG bodyguards............55555
