Today I received call from my tgf in police station.
She and her sister were at Soi 7 just arrived there waiting for her lady friend who invited her for birthday party.
Then suddenly Thai police (unrecognizable due to civilian clothes arrested them)
She had to pay 2000 bath fine...luckily she had the money with her.
Unclear cause she just was waiting outside on Soi 7 but probably charged for lady work. Could well be that both looked as FL's cause they both are
but tonight at 19:00 they had party plan's with their friend.
The last years Thailand had changed to much due to this kind of actions, and this kind of raid is new to me and for her too.
Ok if they were clearly doing their FL work in Soi 7 but that is not their area so...
Is this because of Beergarden [competition?] although the business there is mainly 'inside'
And those agents were not common officers in police uniforms but just dressed as civilians.
Is this a new approach from the police to deal with unwanted FL's ?

Unfortunately, the cops have been shaking down lots of the freelancers (and non FLs) on Suk and down Soi Nana 3 for the last several months. Some they are rounding up, many they are just shaking down and stealing their money. Total bullshit, really, but T.I.T. A number of ladies I know have been hassled for all their cash. They have no recourse. Pisses me off, at least the ladies are WORKING for their money. I assume some of the local owners are the ones behind all this, as it wasn't this bad before.

Call me Mr Cynical, but that's more likely. If they were only standing there, all the girls I know would have told the cops to f*** off.

Not the case as she was brought to prison handcuffed etc. Little bit difficult for fake cops to bring FL's to policestation, I know cops need money and no recuit is given or so but that fake cops would bring FL's to their policefriends in the policestation that goes a bit to far, but perhaps he he, you never know....

Yes true totally bullshit.
That was my first thougt also that some local owners in Soi 7 arranged this kind of arrests.

Being a FL I guess haha and walking at the wrong time in the wrong street.
As I understood it she had 2 choices to sleep there in the police station.....with her cute sister and then next day they could leave without paying or so
Or leaving immediately by paying 2000 Bath
I told her maybe she could do some ST in the station and leave then without paying but....that she didn't like of course.
But seriously those fine's are not being registered (she asked that if she could get any paper or so for what kind of crime she was taken)...and nothing of this is put on the computer system in that police station told the policeofficer....
