I was browsing around, and I came across some travel magazine which had a tagline line for an article, "30 Best Bars in...". I was just thinking, can any of you remember 30 bars that you have visited in the last 6-12 months in Bangkok? Well, if your list is not extensive enough, add in other parts of LOS too.

Anyone would be hard pressed to list 30 bars, let alone their 30 best in Thailand. The 30 best seems more like a number so a bar isn't inadvertently left off some list....hahahaha.
It would be more realistic to list your 5, or 10 favorite. A number like 30 kind of defeats the concept of "best". Most people will have different choices depending on the time of the day/night, but still the number would be under 10. I think most can list their 5 best, and the 5 they frequent the most, or look forward to on their next visit. Anything past 5, I feel, is just trying something else for a change of pace.
My 5 best, and the one's I frequent on a regular basis.
1. Big Dogs
2. Soi 7 Beer Garden
3. Baccara - after 10pm
4. Lucy bar 1 - after 1am
5. Malibu Bar in Pattaya after 9pm

We could the list of Best bars in different categories. For example Best afternoon beer bar, Best bar for people watching, Best gogo bar, etc. Hence, I would visit a different depending on the time of day/night and depending on what I want to do.
