I just talked to my GF and the latest is that the guy is moving out of the building in 3 days! Apparantly this fuss got him in trouble with a few of his neighbours as well and he decided to high-tail it out of there....
Guess the men in brown had a big impact on him ;-)

Farangs behaving like like really really angers me, i am a great believer in behaving yourself in any foreign country regardless.
For them to act in this lewd manner really pisses me off, especially in front of their b\f. I just hope one day, they do this to a Thai lady, whose b\f beats the shit out of them!
Trouble is, they give us all a bad name.

had a bad experience last year from a bunch of drunken young Brits.
I was in Silom village with TG and some of her friends. We had ordered food and then the insults started. The idiots were trying to get off with some of the girls I was with. When my TG went to the toilet she had to pass their table. On her way back one of the guys grabbed her and was groping at her.
I had to say something and he let her go. But the insults continued so I felt left with no choice. leave the restuarant or do something. But my TG was clearly very upset and offended.
So I went back to the table and told them , politely to cool it or I would have to do something, meaning get the restaurant management or call the police.
But the main culpret took that as provocation and jumped up and took a wild swing at me. I am not particularly pround of what I did but just gave him one return punch and broke his nose. His buddies didn't react badly, fortunately, and they left quickly.

Hey Dave. Thanks for doing what I've felt like doing a number of times. Sometimes these guys need to be taught a lesson. Unfortunately there are hordes more to replace him.

Am in the middle of the same situation with my TGF. Except that it is a Thai dude in her apt that is calling her and trying to get off on the phone with her. He has apparently called another Thai lady in the building too, but no one knows who he is (she thinks she does, based on looks she's gotten from one person there).
Have had some help from other members on this board to sort this out (my appreciation and thanks to them), but the end result is that she will be moving out of her apartment, probably next month. The upside is that she will be closer to Sukhumvit, and the savings in taxi-meter fares (she'll be able to take a songthaew instead of a taxi) will allow her to get a slightly more expensive apartment (maybe with aircon -- sex without aircon gets awfully sweaty at times!).
So, unfortunately, there are creeps and stalkers everywhere, and they aren't always farangs.
Good luck to your TGF, hope things work out after that jerk moves on.

I'd like to say that as upsetting as the stalking incident is/was, Ýit is the other ongoing stuff that becomes the most annoying over time. ÝEndless attempts of guys to grab my GF or do rude or stupid things. ÝIt just gets old real fast. Ý
She doesn't dress provocatively or like a BG, so that isn't it. ÝShe's just a very small, attractive 27 year old TG. Ý And, like I said, I expect her to get looks and for guys to hit on her in normal ways when I'm not there. ÝThat is normal in my opinion. Ý ÝBut it is the grabbing, Ýsexual remarks, and attempts to pick her up while she's clearly with me that piss me off...
The stalking thing can be stopped. ÝI'm afraid this other stuff cannot, because there are endless streams of farangs that seem to act in the same way. ÝThese are not isolated incidents from what I've been seeing over the last 7 months (and I haven't even come close to detailing all of the incidents in my posts) ...
Therefore, I cannot just write it off to one guy being a nutcase, as I can with the stalker. Ý It seems to be a deeper problem than that...

yeah.. that is how I saw it. The girls were getting pretty upset and leaving the place wouldn't have helped their feelings.
It wasn't something I wanted to get into, after all I should know better now that I am an oldie. But as a younger guy, boxing was my sport and I had a few pro fights to help my way through college. So sorting one pisshead wasn't that difficult.

zzzz, sorry to hear about your troubles and I totally sympathise with you, but its not just confined to LOS, I had similar bullshit with guys (even a so called "best friend") hitting on one of my ex-girlfriends. My ex GF used to get really upset over it, as she really wasn't interested in all the attention, but thats the price you pay when you have a really good looking girlfriend, or one that has a certain extra something. In the end we just used to go out less as it was less hassle. Unfortunately assholes are everywhere.

I was on a usual trip to BKK. I met up with TG but on that night it was the birthday of one of her work colleagues. So I was out with 4 girls.
The loud comments were like " how much is the one opposite you" " can we have the little one before you" and so it went on. I'm sure you can see how hard it was to ignore it when no amount of verbal reasoning was getting anywhere.
