I've been there a couple of years ago (on an invitation of a friend of mine).
If you walk over the bridge in front of Hualamphong you'll end up in a road where a couple of MPs are (were).
The MPs are cheap compared with those on Ratchada/Petchburi. I payed that time THB 500 for full service (blowjob THB 300 extra, but the girl gave me one without the surcharge). Quality was ok... except for one girl (which I took which was a solid 10).

Ah, here it is.
So I've been interested in exploring the love for sale in Yaowarat for ages now. But I always hated going up there because of the traffic, crowds, and hot steam blasting from the hazelnut venders' pans. But today I decided to persevere, and here's what I turned up.

You're welcome. I wish my directions could be better. But despite maps and advice, I'd never really learned the names of the roads through Yaowarat. However, these place is easy to find. Just go to the gold shops.

I also tend to get lost in Yaowarat, but I see more or less where you went.
I also noticed a small dark lane that start from Soi Texas (same side as the 7/11), if you walk this one even daytime, its full of girls and has more than a few massage places...never tried any because I had other things to do in another part of Chinatown...
I wonder what the same lane look like night-time...could do for an interesting field report...

Glad you guys liked the report. And thanks, bkkz, for the attached pictures.
Looks like the Texas Massage photo must have been taken from somewhere near the mouth of the big road, since the sign is on the right hand side. Past the sign this alley had a left hand passage, which is where I came in at and saw the younger girls (while the older ones were in the portion in your photo) and which leads to the larger soi with the oil massages and the Umbrella Walkers.
As for the temple, that's an interesting bit of history about Grandmother Faeng. Ah, the good old days.

I was working in Yaowarat yesterday and did a little scouting for action at the same time, here is what I noticed : the FL girls are mainly avalaible in the end of the afternoon, they can be found in and around Soi Texas, and yes, they do carry umbrella, best one I saw had a nice traditional umbrella (made of pink silk with bits hanging), this one was likely not Thai (tall, whiete skin, nice face), the other I saw were clearly Thai (and more average looking)
During daytime I did not had time to explore more so I decided to come back nightime and see what would be avalaible. So I came back at 11pm....VERY disapointing...
I arrived via MRT (Hua Lampong station) from there I walked across the klong and took the first road on my right, this road has a MP (name is cleopatra), I entered and fishbowl was almost empty...4 girls left, only one was ok looking (let say a 6, the other being more like 4)
