MrJoe, I understand where your coming from. But, you been living in Asia (LOS) for maybe 20/40 years. Alot of things have changed quite dramatically in the western culture in 20 years. One of the new things is called sexual harrasement, a concept unknown 20 years ago. In this concept the male is guilty until he can prove otherwise.

Fair enough Cal. (It's nearly 20 btw). But I'm not completely out of touch and I ahve had falang women friends here as well.
In any case my most recent point stands: I don't need to knock Falang ladies to appreciate TGs.
Oh and give me a bit of credit. I know quite well what sexual harrasment is.

And I said or inferred that it was? Not very offended, BTW. More bemused at the idea that someone would think I was completey ignorant of a major social trend -- even if I haven't experienced it much. Nonetheless, I don't see where sexual harrassment is necessarily related to my posts. Nor do I see where it necessitates having a vehemnt dislike for all falang women.

Thai women spend a lot of time and in
many cases money looking after their
appearance this can be borne out by all
the beauty clinics, fitness centres, beauty products
etc, why because the competition in this
country to secure and keep your meal
ticket is greater than in western societies
where women have greater rights, freedom
and opportunity. We get to particpate in
what is still a very sexist society where
women in the main are still very much
second class citizens.
I have no problem with this but donot heap all
the blame for western women attitudes
on to their shoulders we gave them the vote!

No problem.
As to where they go, one only hopes that they all marry fat old western men and live happily ever after. Not much f_cken chance of that either!!!.
Possibly the younger good looking ones make enough money while they are young, to then retire back to the villages, as the slightly more weathy aunt of the village????
That is, if we dont knock them up before hand.

1> Those assholes that I'd referred to, were definitely Oz. I've been to Oz often enough to be able distinguish between an Aussie & a Kiwi accent . Further, in their garbled garbage, they kept referring to Sydney, no Kiwi would do that.
2> Happen to have business relations with both Aussies & Kiwis. Kiwis' are way better behaved. A Kiwi would take it as a mortal insult if somebody referred to him /her as an Aussie.
3> As for telling those shitholes to 'f_ck off' would it have made any difference? Had they been remotely human, they wouldn't behave in that manner in the first place.

There are plenty of badly-behaved Kiwis, believe me. Also plenty of badly-behaved Brits, Yanks, whatever. Even, so rumour has it, the occasional well-behaved Aussie.
In general, I suspect it's true that the Anglophone countries tend to throw up more drunken boors than the rest of the farang world. But there's no point in judging nationalities by a few jerks. In my book, at least, a jerk is a jerk first and whatever else his accent suggests a far distant second.
