It is an unfortunate fact that BKK does attract more than its fair share of assholes from all nations, and I have nothing but sympathy for the victims of the stories being posted.
I do sometimes wonder what impression the Thaiķs really do have of us ģFarangsī when I see some of the consistent bad behaviour going on.
I was once told by a TG, that I was not a normal Englishman, in that I was not rude, groping, drunk or abusive (she caught me on a good day!). It took a while to explain that I was normal, but I was just not like a lot of Farangs that came to LOS, and she should not judge other nationalities by what she sees in LOS.

i'm like Ady.
i'm not rude,grope(unless invited) or abusive.
yes sometimes i do take too much drink and have been known to upset girls because of my drunken actions,but they forgive me.
because i always apologise and make it up to them.
i have seen the actions of falangs in Patong and espiecally the American Navy(no descrimation here guys and gals,only that they were the only ones i have seen).
but i can imagine other nations armed forces can act the same.
and i have been the victim of drunken Englishmen and still bear the scars.
but i once saw Nok assaulted by an American sailor and she dealt with it brilliantly and i was so proud of her.
