Big Band Jazz at Bangkok's cool new "My Bar"

Big Band Jazz makes a welcome return to city life this Sunday when the hugely popular Bangkok Big Band makes its debut at the "MyBar" on the lobby level of the Dusit Thani Hotel.
Led by the multi-talented Mark Hodgkins, the ten-member Bangkok Big Band are famous for their unique rendition of jazz in all its forms, from Dixieland and traditional to modern and even funky jazz.
The band is unquestionably one of Thailand's most exciting home-grown musical ensembles.
By constantly experimenting with their musical style, they have remained as fresh and exciting as when they first formed several years ago.
The Bangkok Big Band will be on stage non-stop in "MyBar"-The Dusit Thani's cool new music venue - from 6-8 pm, giving customers the perfect ending to a great weekend.
Combined with the special Happy Hours prices, Jazz on Sundays at the Dusit Thani is set to become another Bangkok tradition.
