A - good point, however as I talk to dozens of BGs weekly, in Thai/Issarn/Khamen etc, - can inform you 75% of what they say is drivel/dreams/yah bah induced fiction - i.e. in true Thai style, tell you what you want to know, not what the actually think ... occasionally you get a story that is true/interesting - but i doubt often enough to warrant a column, and as Mr.J. points out, the expenses mount - OK for me, I am usually getting paid to do it - but it always costs a few ladies drinks, or something stronger, for not only the girl but her friends, not only to get her time, but to have any hope of getting something like the actual details. Anyway, perhaps a new post ... BAR GIRLS Stories ?? - so I will post 1, - that as far as I believe, is interesting and true - and am sure Mr. J and others can add more - say in Misc/girls -

I'm sure you're right about the proportion of drivel. But it seems to me that the 25% that isn't could still provide a wealth of useful input here.
Even the nonsense might be useful if it was beta BS and not one of the bog-standard lines. Never hurts to know what they're going to come up with next...
Of course, it'd be important to have people like you & Mr Joe, who can separate the wheat from the chaff with some confidence.

Actually articles by TPE would be extremely interesting...though I realise why from his point of view why this would not be possible.....but any interesting stories would be appreciated......
Of course does not need to be one person writing....but if not then it just comes back to being another thread on the forum, thats why I suggested MrJoe to be the author (as long as he spells colour with the 'u') and other people to provide him with the assistance.....finding subjects, other background info....etc

Going back to the topic of the thread.
Stickman's Weekly is ONE man's opinions. Some share his views, others do not. What I do find laughable is when I overhear some obvious greenhorn(no offence, we were all greenhorns) recite stickman's column verbatim and treat it like a supernatural document.
To a degree, I agree with stick's idea of a degrade in "quality" of the girls. This can be attributed to many factors. Perhaps when I first visited LoS, I was more eager and more flexible with the WHORES. I was also ignorant on how they view us truly. Perhaps we transfer western ideals on these mostly uneducated farm girls so we bend willingly.
After some time, one sobers up to see the reality. There IS racism here in Thailand and moreso toward Farang (sex) tourists. BGs are pretty much at the bottom of the social totem pole here. FST(farang sex tourists)s are beneath that. Take that into consideration. That is why sometimes it is necessary to treat a whore accordingly. I'm not saying berate or harm her, just know what you're dealing with. A $22.00 joyride that lasts a couple of hours.
Another reasoning is that the Thai Bar Girls are getting more and more westernized due to our interactions. They're beginning to get what I call "the Golden Pussy Syndrome". Which everyone in the west understands as we're not worthy of their somtam chute.
Farangs are just as much unreliable as Thai males and the BGs have come to understand this fully. They don't and cant count on Farangs supporting them or investing a relationship so they go for the only tangible thing, Baht.
These are my opinions and mine alone. What you make of them isn't my concern.
