I want to take a friend of mine out next Tuesday for a decent night. Are there any places which are particularly good on a Tuesday? I was thinking about Bed Club (apparently their hip-hop night is ok) or maybe a Thai place on Ratchada. Looking for good atmosphere, live band (maybe), good food & a chance to dance (but still be able to hear each other). Would an Issan bar girl be comfortable in Bed ( no play on words please) or would it be a bit intimidating? Is the local crowd friendly in there? I have checked the relevant threads & I know there are lots of popular places Thurs - Sunday. Tuesday nights can be a bit hit & miss & I don't fancy trawling from venue to venue to find the right place. Suggestions would be most welcome.
Bed Supperclub is not a bad choice. You can mitigate any shyness on Isaan girl's or your behalf by booking upstairs. Doubt she will be able to read the menu (only english) and she almost certainly wont like the food (western). An alternative 'upmarket' dinner place would be 'The Face' in Suk 38.
After dinner I would recommend Forte. Tuesday is a difficult night....but Forte usually gets a reasonable crowd. Good band, can dance.

If you really want to be sure that she has a good time then the best suggestion would be SHE PICK, YOU PAY.
Let her decide where to go. Thais always know where to find a good time ( Even on a Tuesday ) and this way you'll get to experience her idea of fun for a change.
