Hello Bros,
While doing some research on this forum (this is the BEST place for some REAL COOL reports) I thought Thermae was one of the best down-to-earth freelancer bars to visit. After doing some more research (thanks bkktonight) someone suggested Grace Disco. Please could somebody shed some more light as to how Grace Disco and Thermae compare with each other?

How can you compare Thermae and Grace??
Thermae is crapy hole for too young/too old/too sick freelancers and BG.The place close his dooors at 2AM...na...
My opinion Grace mutt mutt better.Some really stunners inside,"sexy dancing atmosphere",place operating almost 24 hours a day and much more.Visit Thermae,and then Grace,and you'll see what I'm talking about.

i havent been to thermae yet, but i say Grace was an absolute pussy-fest from another world.... MANY MANY freelancers there... We went to CM2 the other night, was a good mix of freelancers and normal girls, more FL's though.... much trendier atmosphere, more dancing and partying going on, and I dug the smaller VIP type of room that was playing american Hip Hop... Had a BLAST!! BK, Tyler, Tyler's Bro, and Peter (I think cmore was gone already)... GREAT time... drinks were a bit steep i believe i recall...

ok, mini field rep... we went to grace,had some brews... wallflowered a bit, walked around, talked some game... and in no time i was with this absolutely stunning short, TG, dancing with drinks in the air in the hiphop room.... (i dont dance!) had a f_cking blast and a half.. oops wait that was CM2
grace, i was running / avoiding Butterface all night and ended up taking her home =( but it was free, and she had a smoking body sigh

Try this. Head to Soi 7's Beer Garden at about 8/9 pm, have a few beers, then at about 11pm-12am, head over to Thermae spend a couple of hours/beers there. After 2 am, mosey over to Grace hotel's coffee shop. Some girls who go to Thermae do not go to Grace Hotel's Coffee Shop. however you will find that girls from other places (CM2, Nana Disco, Thermae, etc. even Spasso! ) converging at Grace Hotel's coffee shop, since it is the only place that opens past 2 am.

I would take Grace any night. I was there with Hexibot43 and were shocked to see amount of good looking girls hanging out there. Don't jump on the first girl you see unless thats what you want. Wait until 2 am and all those hotties will be pouring in like there is no end to it. And you will be in control to negotiate the price as well since there are too many girls looking to make some last minute connection...

Aimed at new travelers to the Grace ..
My first stop in Bkk was at the Grace back in 1987 .. I stayed at the hotel (it is not all that bad and a good location) .. I went to my room, showered and went to the coffee shop.. all three jukeboxes going full blast .. One with Madonna, one with Thai ramrong music and one with some kind of Arad music..
It was about 1:30 in the morning and the place was packed.. I went in about five feet and was hit with "hello farang" by about ten girls..
Too f_cking much for me.. I was intimidated a lot by the crowd, etc... so I went out on the street and picked up a sweetie...
Over the next few days I got into the swing of things and staying there was great .. I would take a girl from there about 10 in the morning.. then again at about 2-3 in the afternoon and then an early evening girl and then finally the last at about midnight-two am ... It was a great place back in those days
Then it started to go downhill.. not sure why, but I think that when NEP got big it took a lot of the guys away .. also more hotels opened and the gulf war did not help.
Now it seems to be coming back to what it was ..
What was very nice there was that the girls who spent the night there would often come to the coffee shop in the morning before they went home .. or in the afternoon.. which meant that I didn't even have to leave the hotel ..
The rooms are equivalent to the Nana...prices are less than b1,000 per night.. some b600 in the old wing .. so decent prices ..
Never had a problem with Arabs there and doubt you will .. they are there to f_ck around, not to fight ..
