Looking for somewhere in BKK where I can play live music. I can think of 2 possibilities: 1. A bar where the band is OK with the odd guest musician. In my case, I use 'musician' in its loosest possible sense I've played in a couple of bars on Walking Street in Pattaya but although I've watched a lot of bands in BKK at places like Saxophone & various Irish bars, I've not seen punters get up to have a go. 2. Karaoke bar Not seen anywhere like this so far in Thailand but in Japan there are karaoke bars which are more like small clubs, have a stage and all the instruments up there (guitars, drums etc.) that you can use. Having played my rock song, I've stayed on the drums and wrecked many a Japanese ballad afterwards. Any help much appreciated.
