What if the official attitude (law) in Thailand when it comes to taking photos of girls. As long as they of legal age, and can show ID and they consent. Are there any other legal or cultural 'taboos' one should know about. Tasteful photos, nude but not rude! Anyone know?

Depends on what you intend to do with the photo's doesn't it??? How are you going to prove consent and the scope of consent??? How are you going to prove duress wasn't present....

Would have the person to be photographed sign a modeling release form, and then take a photograph of their ID, there would also be a 'witness' present verifying they signed the release form on their 'own'

Artist nude photos are ok, but as they said you need proof that the girls were ok with it if you dont want problem. They just loooooooooove to bust a farang for that kind of crime. I saw last week they took a Thai boy for sending photos of his girlfriend to friends.

In Thai I take it.....If you are going to that much trouble, sounds like quite a "commercial" enterprise that you have in mind....

Did they have the opportunity to seek independent advice prior to signing it ??? Of course, the rights that they "sign away" has to be clearly spelt out - otherwise your piece of paper is worthless or at the least not inclusive of what you intend to do with it.
If I can speculate, sounds like you are going to do a web based publication/web site of "good girls" who strip for the camera. Nothing like a bit of unattainable office girls or Uni girls to get a person keen to see them unclothed. Of course, anyone who knows anything about tg's would know any such girl wouldn't be hard for some farang to pick up...
You might even have a catchy name like "Thai Lust"....not sure if someone is using that already, but if not, I claim copyright and certainly open for discussion to provide a license for its use
