It would be greatly appreciated if experienced board members could kindly recommend the best G club for Oldtimer... who visits Bangkok a few times a year.
He usually hunts alone and what he is looking for is a place with decent music where he can to chat with attractive ladies who can speak reasonable English....bright students are enjoyed. In other words Oldtimer is not just turned on by a pretty face and figure...although that goes without saying.
Oldtimer has been a Piano member for quite a while but these days the ladies there are getting a little long on the tooth...and sometimes Oldtimer is often the only farang in the club.
By the way, Oldtimer doesn't have a budget for this sort of entertainment. He can afford the best that the town has to offer. He also can get the right Thai introductions if required.

This is really a problem for now. The old G Clubs have gotten stale with the girls looking to pick apart Thai guys' end of the year bonus
I have noticed another trend. The younger girls (18-22) dont have the same dynamic personality as in the past. I used to love to watch them multitask different customers. Such drama. Are the new girls wanting to be Japanese? Has today's conservatism got them to just go with the flow? I dont know. But it seems as you pointed out "alittle long on the tooth" everywhere.
Hopefully, a new club will open soon with a new group of girls trying to find their place. Its best to wait a few months and see...
I'll let you know if I find that place.

I'm no expert with G Clubs but one place that keeps getting my repeat business at the moment is Forte on RCA. Maybe the level of English spoken by the girls isn't that great but the friendliness and party atmosphere more than compensate. I'd certainly forget Piano and Sopranos.
Decent music, good looking girls and no hassles for me so far. For non-members it's only 300 Baht to get in during the week (500 Baht at weekends) and that buys you one drink. LDs are 350 Baht each. I only chat and lark about with some of the dancers so don't know about the PR girls.
There's usually only a few Farang in here but I always have a good time. I haven't sampled any of the goods yet - just taking things easy, having fun, building trust and making a long approach. After last night though I think my reward may come soon.
Anyway, if you haven't been here recently then I'd recommend Forte as a good starting point in your search.

I agree with TwinkleToes. The girls and staff are friendlier at Forte then other G Cubs for a number of reasons. In terms of the dancers, they are more performers then trophy girls looking for sponsors. Forte dancers are paid much less then other G Clubs for drinks they sell. Also, turnover ratio is very small compared to the other clubs. I would say 80% of the dancers have been at Forte for at least 3 years. From my understanding, the owner discourages the dancers going out with customers and nearly all of them have serious tbfs. The dancers will treat you like more like your sister, then an ATM. If their is such a thing as good girl dancers, Forte girls would be it.
One dancer describe it as a tight family of friends and no drama bitches. She had recently worked at Resort and Carribean and back to Forte. She said some pretty nasty things about the girls and management at the other G Clubs. She also said some nasty things about another forum member, but I wont get into that.
The pr girls are another story. My friend (ex NFL player) was able to pickup and take home a pr the first night. He asked the mamsan which prs were available for outside activities. If it were me, I would sit at a table right outside the bar on the far left near the bathroom. The best dancers are over there and ask for a pr girl of your choice.
Since November, there has been more pr girls added to the staff and a few more dancers. The pr girls dressup more then Resort and Carribean prs. Look to spend 270 baht per drink every 40 minutes for the Forte pr girl of your choice. I think my friend gave his pr girl 3000 to spend the night.

Forte is the best for drinking, watching, and having fun. I can believe what Formen had to say about the Forte girls. They are really all business. Not that they are trying to get your money, but they seem to just keep their "Customers" happy. I have gone out after closing with a couple of the dancers, which politely went no where. One dancer has driven me home a few times, but like I said, she just seemed to be trying to be nice, and that was it.
The girls in Forte are well taken care of many Non-Farang sponsers. Just watch the cars they all get in after closing.

Considering recent experiences I'd say Forte over Caribean although I don't really know about the hostesses there. Mostly look like a waste of money. I feel already overworked after 6 days back in Europe BTW, Baquawn when are U coming back to BKK ?? won't mind a shooting session in Forte again... Might fly over for a couple of days end of this month

edit in: I meant they look like a waste of money,no personnal experience, 270 for 40 mns chat and 3000 allnighter looks like a fair deal.
