Hi there
Don't really know where any sports bars are on Suk, I wouldn't mind going to watch the cricket.
Anyone know of any specifically playing the cricket? Lively surroundings always helps too

Some of the bars on Soi 33 specialize in cricket, rugby, and soccer. Yurune might be best to tell you which ones are cricket bars but Green Parrot, Wall Street and Lookie Lookie come to mind as good spots to watch games.
Wall Street is always lively for rugby.

The FA Cup final will be held on Saturday May 30 of this year between Chelsea & Everton (my beloved).
I'll be in town on that date and plan on watching the match - should be about 10pm BKK time. I'm hoping to watch it and not get too hassled by BGs.
Big TVs are a must, obviously, as is cold beer (and preferably not a 10 storey hike to the toilet a la Dubliner).
Other problem is, this will be my only Saturday night in BKK and I want it to go off with a bang...as much as I'd love to watch Everton thrash Chelsea live, it's valuable "hunting" time :D I might have to settle for the reply on Sunday afternoon.

Doily: CG's right 33's the spot, but don't forget 'the Office'. There's a nice little sports bar on Soi 20 & Suk on the L (sorry can't remember the name). They've got some cute hostesses and will put anything you want on the TV. wj

The one on Soi 20 and Suk is called Sports Corner they have an inside and open air bar.
