As some forum members may be aware, the Police started a closing time crackdown in Pattaya on Friday night. Everything must shut by 2am and they have strictly enforced that on Friday & Saturday, with rumours that it will last at least a week...
As I will be in BKK later in the week, is there any evidence of such a crackdown there?
For clarity, the police arrived in Walking Street and shut everything down, gogos, discos etc - even the discos that dont really get going until 2am...

They did a collection for the floods at walking street a couple of weeks back- several officers seated -
I put 500 baht in the box much to their delight-
I joked "will this get me a better cell later"
All laughed-
They do it now so the high season gets back to normal hours-
Its a bitch but occansional they have to make Pattaya seem like its a lawful place
And pick up some extra Key money

DD, thats over the Bangna but not as far as the Imperial Samrong.
Its in very close vicinity to a place they call 'State', which is a long winding soi, with maybe 20-30 glass fronted shop houses full of girls. you need a car or taxi, Papasan leans in through your window, tells you teh prices and you explain what you want, then some girls are shown to you and you pick what you want and she hops in.
You pay the girl, not papasan.
ST hotels are round the corner, 1000-1500 for the gal, but few speak any kind of english, and services are more in line with a Thai mans tastes.
They say you get 2hrs, but i;ve found 1 shot is your lot, then they're off.
It might not be this place Stick refers to though. Its certainly not a drinking place, there are no bars there. Its a crusing and pick up place.
I should also add, I think it opens at 10 or 11pm, and stays open till maybe 4am.
All of my info is about 4yrs old though. I've had better distractions at home

Thanks DG. I have read in two other forums, current comments that Nana is closing 1AM sharp for sure and also read that now it is Nana, Cowboy and Patpong. Anyone know for sure????
