My company has booked me into this hotel on 25-29 April in a Jnr. Suite.
Anyone have any info regarding bringing guests (1 or 2) into this hotel for overnight stays ?
Looked through the posts but cannot find any references to same.

Two friends of mine from Sydney stayed there in January. Both took a parade of girls back four nights in a row. Neither reported any problems.

Humm things may have changed then, a couple of years ago first night I stayed there and I did book a double I still had to pay a JF, 800 bht.
Checked out the next day !!
No more Bel-air for me.

when I was married to sukanya (first thai wife) She would stay there deliberately, because its the most guest unfriendly hotel in bangkok! Her rationale was that when she went off with her friend to the thai flick and dinner...If I wanted to butterfly I would at least save myself the 800 baht......The staff at this 2 star disguised as 3 star hotel were shocking to "'say the least"" The attitude was we are not serving you, but tolerating you. The bell boy staff, maid, and cooks are ok. As is the pool, food, and cost. But the rooms are spacious but old. The guest friendly line makes me smile. Naturally (like perhasp jingo) were you to have your wife with you, some can go up no problems. But its obvious they are friends. The misinformation here is booking a double is no problem. That just isnt so. I eventually divorced her. we had stay 14 or 15 times there (maybe 50 days)...I think its a f***ing dump...Thai woman in the know will select it, as their husbands movements are reported, the 800 baht thing means not in my room, and they dispise it seems farangs that butterfly.

Haven't been looking at the forums for a while so the answer may be a bit late.
Stayed there twice. April 2003 & May 2004.
In 2003 they tried the 800 baht trick the first night, I kicked up shit & refused to pay, reminding them I had paid for a double room. The next five nights not a problem.
In 2004 not a problem. Various chicks the first 4 nights of my Thai holiday. Then Returned to the hotel 3 weeks later for another 4 nights with a hottie from Pattaya and she stayed without issue.
On both trips, each time I had a lady they would take her card and then ring me in the morning (or whenwver) to check all was ok before giving them their card back.

stayed there 2 times and everytime I have talen a lady they try to charge me in the morning when I have booked out as I only spend maybe 1 o2 nights there.so I argue with them that I have payed for a double room so should not have to pay eaxtra but.so if they still insist I raise my vioce to let it be know that they r ripping their guests off then they drop the guest fee.so my advice istry the same as I have and u may get away with it.oh and alwasy say u will tell many paople not to stay there again that will help aswell.apart from that the hotel is in a good location to get to the main areas of nightlife.also I think there is a massage parlour just up the road last time I pasted there was a group of ladies in red dresses sat in like a front of a shop with stairs at the back did not get the name and did not have time to try it out.so if any1 has seen and been to it lets have a report on it

There does not seem to be any posts on the Bel-aire Princes for a long time. Anyone stayed there lately?
Is it guest friendly now? Went into the lobby on the last trip and it looks like they have refurbished. How are the rooms? On the website they look pretty good.
