Found this hotel tucked between Soi 5 and 7 on Sukhumvit
next to barber/beauty/ massage shop.
Has anyone tried it?
if so, any comments?

Wow that looks like a great find
Only 30 rooms though so at 1400B/night/Queen they should go fast. I will stop by soon to check it out in person.
Ambassador used to be the best deal in that area but it went non-girl friendly 2 years ago. Sigh.

front desk staff told me the girl you bring back will have to leave ID with security/front, unless you register in with her double occupancy.

Funny line, but I actually did use this one time. The security guy was demanding a passport from a provider, and I raised my hand like a traffic cop, looked directly in his eyes and said "you do not need to see her passport."
After about three more seconds of direct eye contact, he waved us on our way.

Hei,
Stayed ther abt 2 months ago for 3 nights.
Rooms look better on net than irl.
The small rooms, Queen I think, have no windows
and are very small.
Larger ones looked better, but you hear the noice
from Sukh. very well.
Quest friendly, only ID.
All in all, I will not be back.

Yes I checked it out myself.
Rooms are very small indeed.
But for 1300 with brand new rooms, the location and the nice shower, it is not bad for the budget minded.
Lady told me for one week stay it is 1200/night but no breakfast included.

I stayed there for 3 days. So yes girlfriendly. Only need to give their id. Rooms are relatively small but have nice bathroom. They have cheap in room dining available taste fine.
And yes you hear the noise of street a little. I stayed in a king size bedroom at 1400 with breakfast. But therefore they have a quite well working AC which is very quiet. ANd they offer second room key so aircon is on all time. No sweating when you come back from hunting. Location is great-short walk to nana short walk to soi cowboy. Compared with lets say town lodge or Swiss grottino rooms are smaller but younger so not so worn out. Good bed and internet for 200bht/24h
