I remember that Eden uses the Star Hotel right beside them.
It got me thinking - Can I actually book a room there for my trip to BKK?
Anyone know how much they charge?

Yes you can stay there, very small rooms, try Google or UTFSE, I'd paid 1000bt, this was a couple of years ago

Correct, "Star Inn" it is. Also goes as a ST hotel but at a rip-off rate... I paid like 400 B. for only 2 hrs. in 2007. Rooms are small and old and some have no window. Didn't like it at all... Only plus is the location. Much better options vailable close by...

Would love to know as SI rooms are tiny.
Playboy is not nearby IMO.

Right at the end of Soi 7 on left there's a hotel I think around 700-800 a night, Sorry don't remember the name.
I stayed there a few years back it was OK!
If you talk to Rob at the Down Under Bar (opp) EDEN CLUB
He will tell you the current price, there's plenty of action in that Soi, a few bars with some gems if one spends some time to have a Look.

I was contributing to the thread. So better options for hotels to stay it was... not for ST hotels...
PB is my ST hotel of choice... Would be a 5 to 10 min cab ride from Soi 7/1... I can wait that long...

hey when I stayed at Star Inn a couple years ago, I got a "deluxe" room for1,500 baht, not bad, clean, big, bathroom good. had a dvd player, right in the heart of the action...

Playboy Hotel... when checking-in for ST room, be SURE to ask for the drive-in room outside in the parking lot [the rooms behind the curtains screening the car park]... you will have to walk outside and pay for it separately... THB 290/3-hours... while they have no windows, they are equiped with mood lighting [such as a Thai can manage], a f*** chair [humping height with stirrups to spread 'em!], mirrors... the rooms upstairs are just standard hotel rooms... no atmosphere... in the rooms behind the car park curtains, you know you are in a place to do something naaaas-ty
