I love the Majestic Suites and plan to book there for my next trip, but I've been planning on seeing a few non-pros during my next trip also...
Will Majestic Suites be percieved by good girls as a boom boom hotel?
Is being in a location so close to NEP a bad deal for trying to entertain good girls?

Location, location, location,
The cardinal rule in real estate. As you know MJ is a nice hotel makes a good presentation when you walk in, but the area it's located in shouts whoremonger. Use the Sheraton Royal Orchid by the river as your up scale hotel. 9 days

I have struggled with that issue. I am considering to book a few boom-boom nights in a boom-boom hotel, for its obvious convenience and and proximity to the action and then some days in a hotel outside Sukumvit when I meet up with nice girl(s)
It was mentioned elsewhere on this forum that when dating a nice girl before getting to the point where the relationship includes sex, that one can always go off on a naughty excursion late evening after dating the nice girl.
I stayed in Marriot health resort and spa when I did this.
I developed a friendly relationship with acouple of the younger guys in the reception and they recommended places for mre to go as a single male. Had no problems bringing a girl to my room after midnight. I had double room. Always needed taxi, though because of its location on the other side of the river.
I think the issue here is to identify hotels outside Sukumvit, which are girl friendly. The list on this site includes some.

how about the amari boulevard between soi 5 and soi7. five star hotel in the right area at a rate of as cheap as usd 40++ for the night.
boom-boom and respectable together!

Well I want a place on Sukhumvit, so maybe the Amari is the way to go... Is it facing Suk or on a side street?
Is this place well confirmed "guest friendly?"

$70-$90 US for a basic double room...
Unless you know something I don't know...
This still isn't too bad, but more than I like to spend when it's just for me, and not my fillipina and I travelling together...

Send out a few emails to the manager of the 4 and 5 star hotels near the Amari and make them a offer. See what they come back with.The way I work it and this only works during low season say the hotel lowest web rate is $100USD. I'll offer $50 if the hotel comes back around this price . I'll book it.

The Amari chain has a reputation for being girl-unfriendly. But they are very business oriented. Search through the forum threads for "Amari" and you'll find some of our anecdotes about them.

Who cares what the girl thinks about your hotel. If she is coming back to your hotel she is obviously coming there for boom boom anyway. The Majestic suites is a fine hotel and I dont think any girls would have a problem with it, however I did take a non-pro ( a student actually) to the Nana one time and she wasn't to comfortable with it, but the Nana is a dive really and I do not stay there anymore.
