Looking to spend a few days in Soi Cowboy/Askoke. I've always been up at the Marriott and like to walk at night so a closer hotel is needed....I can't do the Nana thing...
just doesn't do it for me...Need a more upscale place!

The Rembrandt on Soi 18 is nice....good selection of restaurants too.....
The Regency Park on Soi 22.....can be very cheap I've heard if bourght in the right places....very gitrl friendly
The Tai Pan...soi 23.....believe someone else made a good review of it somewhere on this site recently...

I think the Windsor Suites, Soi 20, fits what you need. Nice rooms about 1800 baht a night, was guest friendly for me. A reasonable walk from Soi Cowboy. The only downside is that if you want to take a cab from the hotel to Soi Cowboy it's tricky, but a cab in the other direction (Soi Cowboy to hotel with BF in tow) is quite simple.

I think Sheraton Grande was about $100/night, with my company "discount". You can probably find it cheaper somewhere on the Net or with a broker somehow.

see the Westin are/have taken over the Hotel above Robinsons, [cnr. soi 19 -opp Sheraton] - no idea of rates, but nice inside, good locale, I know plenty of Airlines used to send the staff there. Almost opposite, on soi 19, City Lodge not too bad, around 1500 bt per night.

Glad to endorse suggestion of Windsor Suites: about $50 a night, very, friendly, clean, acceptable. Word of warning; beware the khatoey(s) lurking on or around the footbridge as you stagger back from Soi Cowboy late at night. Nearly lost 8000 to one last month.
