Also got JW Marriot for $55 USD for 4 nights next month, followed by Shangri-La for $65 for the next 4 nights. I've stayed at both places before and, IMHO, Shangri-La is the better deal....Not that there's anything wrong with JW Marriot.

did you have to pay extra for girl since price line didn't ask me for single or double occupancy. I usually book my hotel as double so I can avoid the guest charges.
I was thinking about sending email to make sure they got my reservation for double

Also reason I will be like JW marriot is because its close to all my fav place, especially TG and late night eat out at foodland on soi5. Also not too far away from Soi cowboy

That's weird... I made a $55 bid on sunday and got shot down. I'm in the 72 hour freeze out until midnight tonight. I was planning to try again for $65.

Priceline bookings always qualify for 2 people. Last time I stayed at JW Marriot, I even registered my girl and had the front desk give her a key so she could go visit her brother during the day. Don't worry, when the girl returns I pretend to be napping to force her to use her key for entry. That way, I can be sure she hasn't given her key to someone else to enter the room while we're out on the town.

Whether your bid is accepted will vary. For example, I first bid $65 for Riverside/Silom Dec 1-4, hoping to get Shangri-La. Bid was rejected, so I bid $55 Sukhumvit and got JW Marrot. Then, I decided to extend my visit to Dec 9th and again bid $65 for Riverside/Silom Dec 4-8. This time it was accepted and I got Shangri-La.

I'm guessing that my rejection had to do with the dates I was requesting. Dec. 17-21
I just bid again and was accepted at jw marriot for $65
might have got it for $60 or even $56 but didn't want to monkey around with it anymore - at $65 still a good (and now a done) deal.

Cool. Yeah I was going to monkey around with $50 at J.W marriot but I said why bother with 5 dollars extra. Even minimum wage in California is 6.75. Still at 55 is awsome deal compare to what I paid for landmark couple of years ago
