hi guys
Can anyone tell me if its best to book your hotel via internet on this site or just to pitch when i arrive? Going this weekend so i suppose its low season. Just wanted to know if any advantage or price difference between internet or walk in??

Usually it's much cheaper to book on the internet. And cheaper can relate to prices more then 50% off if booked on the internet.

R.I - think Novotel Siam square maybe a better bet, as the downstairs disco is one of the cities biggest pick up joints, plus that area, "Siam square" - and nearby Marboonkrong shopping complex, probably has the best display of talent wandering around daily of any shopping center in the world !! - Re rates, seems like the small, private Hotels, will do you a better deal if you just walk in, and especially if you ask for a weekly rate - if your staying that long, - but larger, chain hotels, where the front manager can't help much, probably as suggested, internet booking as good as any - It is quiet now, so if your not sure, suggest you just book for 1 night first, then have a look around - many places give good deals, but are away from the action - you waste time and money in taxis. Ploenchit or Sukhumvit roads the best - handy to a skytrain station also a plus - and yes, the "double" room a good tip, saves any hassles.

Will take your advice and stay at the novotel siam then.Just read in a previous thread that the loftus was a better option out of the 2.But hell,if its central to the action im there already. i take it you are reffering to CM2 being the best pick up joint. Is it in the hotel itself???

I am there from tomorrow night.And trust me "party till we drop" is exactly on the agenda. Friday day, from what i read in the forum, the best place for a little action is probably Soi 7 beer garden. We play it by ear. Give me a call when you get in on Friday and we can hook up before the game.

I would suggest you stay at the Novotel Lotus. Even though the other hotel has CM2 downstairs, there are probably 10 bars infront of the Lotus where you can pick up females!!!
I have stayed there and had a blast every time. I took Supaporn to a bar named Christies and we ended up staying a long time!! ha ha ha!!
