Hey guys im staying at the president park suites next month (tulip suite). Has anyone ever been there and can you tell me what the place is like?

Rooms are good, staff are friendly, pool is small but nice, decent gym. No problem bringing back guests. Many of the guests are long term residents and many have thai gfs. Some of the maids are very funny, especially Kun Nok and Kun Sun. I mean funny, not mean available. Remember to put the do not disturb light on when u go to bed or u could get woken at a very unfriendly hour. Tuk Tuk available to either bottom of soi 11 or to Robinsons (soi 19). And u are very close to Q Bar and Bed.

Regarding Solitaire: stop the taxi in the parking of the hotel, it is on soi 13, not 11 same as main entrance. It is a door that leads straight to the elevators from that side, so you will not see reception at all. Give the security near the elevator small tip, and tell him the gals are your friends if he'll ask for ID's. Worked for me many times.

You are thinking about the president solitare on soi 11, which is close to Bed, Qbar. President Park is on soi 24.

Will I get charged a joiner fee if I book a single rather than a double? I usualy book a double at the Manhattan to avoid this and have had no problems there.

Naah! Started hearing the Pres Solit. name and checked the rooms on the site and Wow! I could spend 2 nights there before going to Pattaya. LOL!

No.
BTW having stayed at both Pres Solitaire and Royal President I would say that no real difference between the two except the Solitaire rooms each have a super size Plaza screen TV for which you are paying an extra 1-2k!!

BTW having stayed at both Pres Solitaire and Royal President I would say that no real difference between the two except the Solitaire rooms each have a super size Plaza screen TV for which you are paying an extra 1-2k!!
Will have to politely disagree. 
I've stayed at the Royal President in a suite in the main buidling and one of the studios in the building next door and have had stayed several times at the President Solitaire, and the PS is a cut or two above the RP in just about every respect.
