A friend stayed there a few weeks back. And he made sure that he had a TG with him, and he got no hassles from the front desk. In fact, when we asked the front desk guy, he said, no problems. I guess the email is just an official note, and not necessarily enforced.

Or listening to internet radio. I calculate that 200 MB would be used up in less than 4 hours when listing to 128 kbit streams.
Maybe that's 200MB per day.

No problem bringing the girl up last night. There is an outside elevator that goes directly to room floors. Doormen just smiled.
There was a notice in the room that overnight guests would be charged, even if a double room was booked. Maybe just to satisfy standard Mercure policy.
At checkin, the lobby was full of a large group of Japanese girls getting checked in. Not on my floor though.
Room is OK... very small window. For such a new hotel though, no excuse for the mildew in the bathroom tile.
