After a hassle, They let me bring my GF in without joiner
fee if I registered her. You could book a double and register her and probably not have to pay.

For what it is worth, this is their reply:

Please be informed that if you book for double room both of you must come to check in at the same time or if not you have to inform us for guest's name who will come later.Otherwise we will charge for 1 visitor 1,000 baht per person per night excluding breakfast.

Hmmm. Any description. Is that an "ordinary" wheelchair or one of those souped up versions that they use in the wheelchair olympic games? Does that mean specifying both times, the slow time for the ordinary wheelchair and the fast time for the olympic version?
