Hi Guys, I just booked a room at the SGS on this website called Onetravel.com. They have an exclusive offer for a deluxe room which is 45 sq.meters according to their website. This will be my first time at a 5 star hotel and I am looking forward to staying there. The thing is to get the exclusive rates you have to pay for your room up front, hope this works for you.

Blonk got me all excited & I tried 10 different dates on Agoda. They don't even offer this hotel. Tried the Starwood site and it's 5000B. You can get it on Hotels Combined for $154 (ai). There will be no 3200B during high season unless the Redshirts take the town over again. Blonk, why don't you try telling the truth once & a while, just to confuse us ? BTW: the new Sheraton FourPoints across the street is a great deal at the 1900B opening price. wj

Although I find the Agoda website easy to navigate and its well thought out I've never booked here as I've never found their rates particularly competitive
They show a hotel rate which may look competitive but they then add hotel tax and service fees on top of that. Then having to pay upfront is the final straw. I would have to be getting a pretty good deal to do that

Sorry Guys, But I just checked Onetravel's website and the exclusive is no longer available. Anyway here's my breakdown: The offer on the website was for 87 USD per night, add the VAT taxes and fees it came out to 123.00 USD per night average, which does not include breakfast. The SGS website is offering rooms starting at 130.00 USD per night, but it looks like Mr. Blonk scored.
