I was making a general comment about some hotels charging different rates for single or double occupancy. Nana does not but Manhattan does. Just have a look at some hotels on line. Somtimes the difference will be small, perhaps just a charge for the often included breakfast

I have stayed at both the Nana and Manhatten and I would recommend Manhatten because overall its nicer,better rooms,nice staff, in room safe and generally more decent than Nana. No guest problems if you book a double which is only a extra 100 baht, and even then it is still cheaper than Nana. Book on a internet reservation service as it is much cheaper than walk in rate. Nana hotel has absolutely no guest problems but it is a bit sleazy but not the worst hotel in the world.

Nana hotel will cost about 1000 bht maybe 900. I am not sure but they probally will charge for the 13th.
Manhatten will cost about 950 bht.

Andy,
The standard room at the Nana will be 1070 baht, single or double. If you checkin as double they will wait for her name. Same price though. Having her register will get ya a free breakfast coupon for their buffet, normally 140 baht.
They do have larger rooms but really not needed.

Stayed there in Sept., same numbers as John NM says: I payed 1073 Baht for a double (1000 plus tax) - we both signed in at the same time, and of course she got the breakfast with no extra charge.
