I was in this hotel six weeks ago and had to pay about 800 baht each time I took a girl to my room. It would be waived if you had checked in with a partner. But the disco in the basement (CM2) is a great pickup joint for both thai cuties and russian girls.

I use to stay at the Novetel all the time but they seemed to get more agressive with the Thai girls about 2 to 3 years ago. I always booked a double, and it was always the same gal, and she always checked in with me. But the security guys at the elevator became more and more a pain. One of them grabbed my Thai girl's arm pretty hard at which point I grabbed him and dragged him over to the front desk and demanded to see the manager. I checked out the next morning and haven't been back since. I have stayed at 4 and 5 star hotels in Bangkok. The security guys are usually polite about it and it really isn't much of a hassle, but when they physically grab you women, that's enough. There are better hotels within walking distance of CM2. I wouldn't stay at the Novetel.

I stayed in Novotel Siam square . Hotel is certainly good to stay for its location, but not at all guest friendly . Rather they misbehave with the guest. I , too paid Bht 700 for each night for my guest . But you can get good Thai massage in your room. There is Gym, sauna ,pool etc. Chinese restaurant is good too, breakfast is good . Been to CM2 disco as well . Not too many people , no russian at least when I was there. I think Russian scene is seasonal and not regular. easy to get Girl over there. Just have to ask if she is free to join you , that's all.
