For what it is, it's not a bad place. True the rooms could use more English speaking channels, but do you really go to LOS to sit in a room and watch the boob tube??

Location is not bad. You'll have to notice though, that soi 3 is filled with arab and african customers. None of girls new about Leela inn either(many bg's don't like these nationalities located there) , nor the taxi drivers. Was girl friendly.
Too few tv channels, had to look some sports channel showing table tennis worl championships. Something to pass time when have hangover...Maybe should have tried to adjust tv for channels, too much arab channels there.
Can hear singing at Thai karaoke bar opposite side of the street. "kon ruk gun"...

Leela Inn is an arab place....LEELA=night(hebrew,arabic),I pass this place every day on my way home and the crowd around there is arab and african.
Donno about rooms etc...

There are a few African and Arab types along soi 3 as we all know, but the Leela is at the opposite end of all of that action, towards the other main street that runs concurrent to Sukhumvit.
I didn't see any African or Arabs milling about that end of Soi 3 when I was there a couple of weeks ago. Mainly Thais on motorbikes looking to make a few bhat.

yep right. I have seen this hotel. was offering me B 900 with Bf as walk in and when I didnot showed much interest and started walking out then the receptionist offer me an upgrade of room too. But I was already booked in Zenith and was not sure how much I will lose if I will cancel myself from Zenith.
Seems like okay place. No arabs or africans around. Arabs are actually been seen mostly in and around GRACE hotel. This place is quite a distance from there. Seems pretty Girl Friendly as lot of girls seems going in and out without any problem.
If no other option is available I think its worth a try.
I dont give much attention to Tv when I am in LOS any way.

Hey!!! The waitresses there are cute at least. At least they were when I was there in Oct. Besides...It's BKK, how much time do you really plan on spending in a hotel room, unless you're doing the obvious activity known as the Horizontal Bop.
