This is interesting. So, you can't play doctor and get those free bottles of water at the same place? Would an ST hotel work for getting some shut eye before my departure flight which leaves Don Muang at 7 am? I figure after the bars close at 2 am, I have 2 or 3 hours to get some sleep before I have to grab a taxi out to the airport. What do I save? about 700 B from Nana Hotel rates?

Pinga, Yes, of course, you are right. I have never stayed overnight, but I have been in the nicer rooms, as well. I guess the traffic in and out, and the need to trudge through Little Arabia everyday keeps me from considering it as a Nana Hotel replacement, and so I just think of it as a short time place. As for Asoke Place, been there, too. But as you know, it can be rented overnight as well. There are LOTS of 'number hotels' around, which vary from quite nice, to Kafkaesque (the one behind Asia hotel comes to mind). ĘThey are all willing to let you stay. ĘBut would you want to? haam sup
