Precision Reservations (this site's supporter) is more expensive than the previous link by at least 5%. They charge $26/night double and under $24 with the previous site. I suppose some of this difference in price goes to support this forum...

To my knowledge that bt990 price is not a double room rate. I used them on my last trip, and was informed at the desk that my double booking at that price was wrong. Price for the double was bt1040 a night. I complained, and they said, get ahold of travel agent as that is wrong price. They wouldn't budge on the bt1040 for a double.

Thats very strange...I have it in black and white on my current booking that 990 is for 2 people. But for 50 baht I'm not going to worry about it to much....I would question it on principle however.

990 Bhat is for double and single. There are many places offering the same price for double and single. When you book, make sure to select 2 people sharing in the room. Try making the booking and you will get a voucher stating 2 people in the room. For a 3rd bed there will be an extra charge. Precision Reservations charges additional commision for all of their bookings, on top of tax and service fees. They do not disclose this extra until you are making the booking. I would stay with http://www.thailand-hotel.net. Perhaps someone will tell prevision to lower their prices and present one price which includes everything up front? Maybe you can do that koolbreez?..

Hi guys,
Should be checking into Manhattan at around 17 hrs on 14th October. Booking double occupancy. I hope that takes care of bringing in my TG and joiner fees avoided.
Plus a BF voucher for her too.
Need some inputs on this.

I booked on siam-online.net for 990 for double. I have been doing this for two years.
However, I am done with Manhattan. Great service, decent rooms, great locale, and excellent buffet breakfast, esp the hotcakes.
Rooms were danky and too much construction. The Gym is shit too.
I also just dumped my LTGF and have too many good memories there. On to something else. Maybe next door at Ruamchitt.

Anyone have recent experience with the construction going on? A booking site told me it was going on both sides from 8:00 am until midnight. The hotel told me it was light construction on one side from 8:00 am until 6:00 pm. Last time I was there, it went until midnight on both sides.
