Thanks, Hero! Do I sign up for the preferred guest program when I'm there, or is this something I have to ask for ahead of time? I'm booking through the Precision Premier online booking utility linked to this site. They do have a field for special requests - is this where you ask for preferred guest status? One other question: Precision Premier's default room is the "deluxe" room @ US$151 / night (Jan 05) - does this sound right? What are the higher grades of room like, and how much are they? Precision presumably doesn't have the higher rooms in their allotment, and so doesn't show them or price them.

Check the Sheraton Website, http://www.starwood.com. They have a lowest price guarantee, if you find it lower, they will match it and give more off...something like that. I think their rates are $140 US for around Jan. 5, I looked the other day as I am thinking of going.
You can join their membership online at http://www.spg.com
If you book through another site, try to mention it on the booking site and also send an e-mail to the hotel itself to give them your number and to ask for confirmation.
I think the deluxe is really their standard room. I have not seen a lower one. Don't know the price of the upper ones but the deluxe are nice.

There are also Grand Deluxe rooms, they are the same as the Deluxe rooms but offer some additional amenities, such as a free drinks in the bar from 5.30-7.30.

I am currently in the Sheraton, and have been bringing women up to my room for the past few weeks. I had no problem even taking four girls at time up. If you are really tearing the ass out of bringing girls up all the time, I suggest greasing the palms of security, and the will keep squared away, and treated like royalty.
The location is great. Beware of the Ho's that frequent the Rivas bar every night. They are girls who just prey on wealthier guys that are too lazy, or ashamed to go out looking for girl. They are pure machines that just want to bang you and leave you when you are done at $100 a pop. Not the GFE kinda girls. They don't have a short supply of dumb f_cks to f_ck. Same goes for the girls at Spassos, and some of the girls from CM2. It has been my observation that the girls with a lot of cash (Hell I even went home with one who had a Benz), are the worst bangs for the buck.
One thing more on the sheraton. I don't think they understand what the "Do Not Disturb" Sign means. House keeping will call you up all the time asking to clean your room. Tell them not to call you, and you will call them when you want it cleaned.
The pool is really nice, you can almost imagine that you are not in Bangkok.

Baqwuan, thanks for your high quality post that once again demonstrates the excellence of this site and of us as a community of girl lovers! How much "grease" did you put into the palm of security, and who was it? Did you have to cover both the day and night shifts? Can you trust one person to share it around, or do you have to personally tip each person who might be concerned?

Giving the security guys a tip is probably not required to accomplish your missions, but I always tip my bellhop well right from the start to set the wheels in motion eliminating any future hassles. Then as the situation dictates I tip the security guys. I think that once they know you are a good tipper, they leave you alone and help you in your girl operations.
I just figure that it is a little insurance to keep the party going if I bring up some girls, and things get loud. I also have a normal girl who I hang out with, and I make sure that security treats her ok, and does not take her ID, or call me to let her come up to my room.
Like I said before, you probably don't need to tip them, but I gave them 1000Bht a couple times. Bear in mind that I was already drunk, and had a couple "high class" hotties in front of me that my mind was stuck on.
Anything else you want to know just ask.

At good hotels (which the Sheraton is), if housekeeping can't get in at the normal time (11am - 2pm), they will always call in order to see when you want them to come by. That can be a bit inconvenient if you're engaged in other activities.
If you don't want to be bothered, call Housekeeping on your first day and tell them specifically to NOT call to schedule a time for room cleaning. They will make a note of it and the calls will stop.
It does mean you might have to call down for more towels...
The Sheraton and the Westin are both business-oriented so the staff knows not to ask awkward questions. Tipping is not required, and it won't engender that much extra good will given the number of people on expense accounts walking through the doors.

I never greased the security at sheraton. I greased the maids for extra towels. Works much better if you start the day out with 6 towels.

i tried booking a 5* hotel on Sukhumvit via priceline and the one they gave me was JW Marriott...although I never stayed there, fellow posters seem to be very high on the hotel (and looking at the map, it looks a lot closer to NEP than Sheraton)...i ended up paying $80/night for JWM though...i am staying a few extra nights in BKK, and was wondering if anyone had booked Sheraton recently and what were the prices?..
