Dont think of the Nana as a "bad" hotel just think of it as an experience. I like to spend a couple of nights there because of access to Nana Plaza, the disco/bar downstairs and the carpark that all have a different yet vital vibe going on. The hotel staff can be rude and grumpy the residents mad and sad that just adds to the appeal for me. Where else can you find a hotel so full of hookers anywhere else on the planet? The rooms acan be shit but last time I took a suit and was pleasantly surprized the gals liked it too.
So I would give the Nana a go just for the experience.

I overheard the Indian that owns the tailors shop downstairs also owns the Hotel, when I was sitting at the Hotels bar next to reception. And don't forget 'Relax Massage' right next door (literally 10 steps away) There has being some favourable posts about 'Relax' on this forum
However I've found this post from Stickman's weekly comment 26/6/2002. I'm personally not into the Star of Light exhibition scene
"I read some comments on this issue before but have to bring it up again: are the mirrors in Parkway Inn see through? Some disturbing facts: (a) they have a darker color than the normal mirrors, (b) they are build into walls which have room behind them which serves no apparent purpose (I was in room 302, which was a middle room without windows), (c) I checked the lamps which have glass plates underneath which can be taken off and you can see open space above the room and one very thick cable leading towards the mirror (could be video and sound???), (d) but the most disturbing was the fact that MTV got muted all of a sudden while I had sex with a girl and the sound came back on once we were finished (remote was meters away), could have been a huge coincident but how likely is that and even worse, the next time I brought a girl in, MTV lost his picture 5 minutes after we entered the room and when the girl left, all of a sudden MTV worked again...???"

just got back from BKK and checked out Parkway
convenient location, a little hard to fine
standard room pretty big, but small bathroom-similar to city lodge soi 9
and the room was humid when we entered it and smelled...hmmmm. dank, I guess is the word
would I stay there, probably not but I think a one night try might be in order
just like any FL you pick up for ST or LT
