Town Lodge is looking pretty good to me from the pictures and brothers such as wowser's comments, so I might just give it a go for a few days in December.
This might be pushing it, but are there any nearby gym or swimming pool facilities to Soi 18?
I'm usually staying around Soi 22 or around emporium and socialising in around Soi 22, Soi 33 way. I guess Tuk Tuk, cross Suk and a cab is a bit of a hassle for that, but I'll live.
I must be going blind, but I could not see a link for bookings. Can you point us at that?
Unless I get hijacked by the majority of my fellow travellers, which happens a lot, my booking would be something like 1-4 Dec, for a standard double, although a jacuzzi sounds tempting - will you still have any special deals happening?
Might BYO TG go a hunting.

At the beginning of Soi 18 (the end closest to Sukhumvitt) is a California WOW on the opposite side of Sukhumvitt. There is a pedistran walkway there as well.
It is 800 THB to use the facility for 1 week. You can use the treadmills which have a view to Soi 23 and watch all the BG's go to work.

Thaidup, I've seen that gym, looks o.k. & I can usaully get pool time when I drop in to see friends at condos or hotels - I just have to organise myself....hah! easier said than done when under the spell. I probably will end up daytime drinking & playing pool with hookers - there are worse things.

I am staying at the Town Lodge right now, and this place has to be the best deal in Bangkok: 5-star service in a 1400 baht place. Detailed FR in the making, my brain cells are currently fueling the revolution in my stomach.
