i use priceline uk a couple of time before with good luck, I allways go for shangri-la, but now my luck is comming to a end, I try to book in march but still they say no everytime, I try 35 pund and 40 pund got twice before for 35, maybe its still to early, anyone have any luck

Because of higher occupancy rates, hotels like Shangri-La and JW Marriott appear to be holding out for $75-$80 bids USD, while I've gotten both previously for only $55. Got the Westin for $60 USD later this month, but booked a few months ago.

Have you stayed at the Westin before? I hear some guys have guest problems.
I didn't book on priceline this year as I was worried I may get the Westin, but if GF then all 3 Suk 5* on priceline are good to go.
FWIW I booked Landmark on bestasiahotel and it works out about 3,000baht inc tax and ABF.

No, haven't stayed at the Westin. Wasn't aware there were any problems with guests, don't recall seeing anything on the forum to indicate that.

I stayed at Westin last year and had absolutely no problem...several occassions I even brought a couple of girls with me and they didn't ask for either IDs or give any problem regarding single/double/triple occupancy...i had already booked a double anyway, but they didn't even stop me to ask if I did or not...it's a great hotel and I wish priceline had picked it for me...but instead I am staying at JWM, which I hear is supposed to be just as good  ...

I got JWM earlier in the year on priceline and it was great, just don't bother paying for breakfast.
If you are hungry go next door to Nana hotel for breakfast, OK and a lot cheaper.
I know bkktonite says Westin is GF so for the last 2 days of my hols, 26 to 28 Nov I may book on Priceline 5* Suk and any of the 3 should be good.
I'll check out biddingfortravel nearer the time.

Has anyone who lives in Europe used priceline.com to book a hotel? I tried it but got a message that the address was not correct. I was then asked to fill in which state I live and as far as I could see there were no option like 'outside USA' or something like that in the pull-down menu.

You cant use priceline.com if you life outside us but you can use this one and it is in english pund http://www.priceline.com/uk
