Is that a riddle? If so, I think I know the answer. The superior is better than the standard, that's why it is superior.
PS- Just joking. If I remember correctly, a superior room has a bigger bathroom with a bathtub, the standard room has a shower. But I'll accept 30 lashes with a withered Christmas tree branch if I'm wrong.

Best to email TL or wait for an answer here from RTB. As I (don't) recall (clearly), I'd had a bit to drink the night I was shown the standard and superior rooms.
But if it won't stretch your budget too far, go for the jacuzzi suite. It has more than enough room for a comfortable orgy.

standard has a shower. deluxe is a wee bit bigger, has a bigger bathroom and a few amenities the standard does not have.

Have to give this place 5 stars for fun and style. I arrived about 1030pm from the airport. First thing I did was pop my head into Toxic bar next to reception. A guy asked me if there was no-one at reception - I said there was - just having a look. Turns out it was Ring The Bells (RTB) who I'd read about - manager of the bar. He came out to make sure I was looked after. I was. I took my luggage up to my jacuzzi room - wonderful! I could see a good night coming up (and thus it was).
Town Lodge is at the end of Soi 18, and it's only a couple minutes walk to Sukhumvit, and the Tuk-tuk driver is there if you want him, free of charge. A modest tip highly appreciated by the driver. It's only a few minutes from any of the hotspots. Check-out time is really up to you. I checked out at 2pm.
The rooms are new, nicely decorated (I had the Marylin Monroe jacuzzi room, but no Marylin, so I had to make do with busty Fon and energetic Nee, at different times of the night).
Toxic Bar was a bit quiet in the short time I was there (except for one Wowser34 - he's a wild guy and a damned good writer if you don't need punctuation). Toxic Bar is great to chill out and easy to chat to people.
The now-famous Jen the bartender will melt you with her smile. She's gorgeous, highly educated (and smart too). If you speak French, she will gladly oblige.
Ring The Bells is a cool guy and can show you around town if he's not busy, or at least tell you enough to get into trouble of the nicest kind. He and Wowser showed me around many places over a few hours. I'm still recovering.
I paid 2900Bt for the room - well worth it. I actually had a free room at Amari Airport Hotel if I wanted it, but chose to try out Town Lodge instead after reading about it. Glad I did. Great atmosphere and people and better than a sterile 5 star.
