Nice attempt at humor.
Where do you have that taxi drop you? And what route do you have the taxi take?
If you have them drop you in front of the hotel (or just past Landmark), it takes forever due to the way traffic flows. I've had the taxis take different routes, but there seems to be no easy way to get there. If you have them drop you across the street, it's a pain if you have alot of luggage or if it's raining. I am looking for a shortcut route that could drop me off just past Landmark.

I always ask the taxi driver to go to Nana Hotel and then walk back to the junction of Soi 4 and Sukhumvit, only a 1 minute walk.

If you really get confused by the taxi or airport bus, try taking a short taxi trip to the BTS station from the airport, and then take Suk line to the Nana station. Assuming you have a suitcase you can pull or push on wheels, you won't have to walk too much. It of course depends on the time of arival, you don't want to do this at 2am (BTS closed). I wonder how things will change with the new airport to be open next year.

Have any of you bad experiences with insects in the rooms in Majestic Suites.
In another forum several persons have had problems with insects and smell from AC.

I stayed there last august and september. There were insects in the room and when the ac was off it smelled bad in the room. Other than that, it was o.k. The security was good and the housekeeping staff was nice. I am thinking of staying there again next year unless I find somewhere better. I want a serviced apartment for about 10 days. Does anyone have any suggestions?

Another alternative by taxi from airport is to ask the driver to drop you on the front of the gas station/7 Eleven on the corner of Suk Soi 4. Then it's just a short walk across the road and 30m to Majestic's door.

i used to stay there back in 99 when it was new, there were ants in the room that plus the noise at the time (not anymore ) from np to all hours at the back and sukomvit to the front made me change hotels.
I assume the management made improvements since then cause its popular with the bros

I saw no insects and the only smells I smelled were the purfumes from the ladies I brought back, cigarette smoke, and the sweet aroma of those Nana Burgers.
