Some time in the past I had asked the forum for help in finding a ST hotel in Rachada area. Thanks to my playmate I am in a position to offer the following information. Totally OK Motel on Ratchada Phisek with privacy curtain for the car. This place is enormous. Prolly 100 rooms. Big Bath - sadly the hot water has packed in years ago.
Name: Ra-Jah Palace Hotel. Location: Along from Grand Hotel. Next to that is Siam Commercial Bank. Adjacent to SCB is an alleyway which leads to the hotel proper. The security guy will show you where to drive the car. If you come to a used car lot you have passed it. Price 310 baht.

I arrive in Bangkok on Thursday just after 5:00am in the morning and do not depart until 6:00pm that same day. I was looking for a hotel for about 4 or 5 hours when I arrive so as to get some sleep before heading out for a massage or two. I searched the forums but only information on day rooms was back in 2003. I am aware that the new airport has day rooms but you cannot reserve and I looked at the Novotel at the airport but the cost is rediculous. Can anyone suggest day rooms in Sukumvit between say Soi 1 through 39. I am just looking for a clean bed with airconditioning and bathroom.

A 2 hour session at a TTM is about 600baht with no "special services". So for a nice 4 hr session it might be 1200b plus tip to lady. But if you sleep she may not expect very much and may not even need to be there the whole time.
It will be a small bed but if your tired it will not matter.
Just a thought...
