Depends. When my partner in crime and I first booked Nana on the internet (used Planet Holiday via this website), the rate was actually a few Baht higher than what we got for walkin (maybe 100 Baht). So now I just book over the phone, tell 'em I've been there before. We always book doubles there to get the extra breakfast for our ladies (be they TGF's like mine, or LT's like his).
However, in mid-September of this year, certainly not the high-season, the Nana filled up and when my buddy tried to get a walkin room after a week down south (he'd already stayed there the previous week, so they knew who he was), he couldn't get anything except their deluxe suite. They did give him a major discount, but we were both surprised. I guess the word is out on the Nana, via this and other forums. So I'd recommend reservations in advance.
