As far as the hike, it can be a bit of a pain, but the Solitaire will provide 1 way transportation out to Suk. The walk is about 10 minutes for slow old men from USA. GP is closer. But when saying closer it is probably on couple minutes out to Suk.

Sorry Guys,
The distance is a bit of a hike in comparison to staying at JW, Landmark, and Amari. Guess I'm spoilt..... In dry weather the distance wouldn't be a problem, but if its raining,..... Staying at JW one night when it rained, I didn't want to go out in it to NEP. Also, taxi from PS etc to NEP seems to be a drama to do a turn around to go back down the Suk - great for cowboy though.
In saying about the distance, I would still been keen to stay at PS for the expierence. I think when I tried to walk-in at PS, they must have just been having a high period. Managaer did say to phone back after such a date to see for cancellations, I emailed instead and got a no avail.
What does the one way to Suk cost??

I just checked into PS today. I'm not disappointed in the room. But the layout is a little odd. You have to go through the bedroom to get to the rest of the suite. The jacuzzi can fit 3 but I was kind of hopping it would fit 4. The internet speed is only 512. But it's a hell of a lot better than a modem line.
I took a walk to suk and it wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. It's just barely 2 more minutes than when I stayed at GP.

Just checked a friend of mine in at the Royal. Great prices from a few months ago are gone. Still a good deal though for the quality offered. was nice to be back to visit, felt like coming home. That is one of the reasons I always liked the place. It is cosy and you are well taken care off.

Platinum. This is suppose to be the only suite that has it.
BTW. Does some one know where the Qbar is? According to the map it's right at the end of soi 11 which should make it a stones throw from PS. I found a club where I believe Qbar is suppose to be but the name on the place was something different.
Also I saw another club shaped like a tube on soi 11. Is this that club called bed something?
