Yes, I remember hearing about 42inchhottie, but so far,
not one girl has shown any interest in the 42"set. They have all preferred the set in the living room. They don't even show much interest in the music. The big appeal, at this time, is watching PHONY American wresting. Can't believe they sit there and watch that sh__. Tells you something about them I would rather not have confirmed.

Ah, the 42" Plasma TV. I have stayed there twice, and the TV was blocked by one of the poles on the 4-poster bed both times. In a state of panic I was forced to have sex with TGF instead of watching TV. That is quite something, fly half way around the world, and can't see the TV. I would complain but am quite afraid I would be certified insane.

Sanook: I didn't realise we were in the same place. I could have knocked on your door instead of talking to a closed phone!
I have just spent five days at the Solitaire - my first time. Did not eat there so can not comment.
Access to anywhere can be a bit of a bind at times but is generally ok.
Staff were very professional in all aspects. No complaints whatsoever.
I tried the suites with Jacuzzi but found them to be too big for me. I think I will try the normal rooms next time.
Decor is not so smart as comparable 4* hotels but overall I was happy with the place. I also found the bedrooom in the suite sto be a little too dark with no natural light.
My TG was equally at home with the 42" plasma in the bedroom and the 24" in the 'lounge'. In fact, she was able to assemble an elaborate arrangement of mirrors & prisms that allowed her to watch both TV's at the same time whilst performing indecent acts upon my person.
My only complaint was that the mid rail at the head of the bed did not have a gap between itself and the headboard, thus I was unable to slide my tiger-fur handcuffs through and therefore my enjoyment was diminished..but not curtailed!;)

I've got a pair of leopard fur cuffs and anklets velcro closure with a matching blindfold.
Can't wait to try those.
I have two nights at Solitaire booked this month so I am anxious to see how the place is.

You will not need your matching blindfold in the bedroom...it's dark enough already. If she opens her eyes then smother her with a pillow..it usually works. She only turned blue once..but the judge accepted my explanation - not quite so easy to explain the orange in her mouth!
You may need a miner's lamp to get you to the bathroom in the middle of the night though!

i don't know what you are talking about! I never encountered any probs like this there. by the time I come home the bathroom is easy to find and the light in the bedroom is actually so bright that I wish I could darken it more!
regarding your problem with the handcuffs, just use neckties in the future, they are very easy to be adjusted at the 4 poles of the bed in their suites!

I appreciate your advice. Unfortunately, unlike yourself, I am not a man of significant means and the polyester ties that I own cut into the TG's wrists. Can I borrow some of your silk ones that you no longer consider fashionable - nothing special, Armani or Versace will do!!

For me, the President Solitaire is the best value place in town. I've stayed there three times this year (admittedly for only 2-3 night stays) but always enjoy it. The walk is part of the attraction for me.. far enough from Suk Road to be quiet, close enough to be convenient. And, of course, if it's raining or too hot there are always taxis or the hotel tuk tuk.
If there's a downside, it's that the fridge is always empty, but I turn that into an advantage. A quick trip to either Foodland on Soi 5 (?) or the 7/11 on soi 11 means it's easy to stock the fridge with bargain priced beer, fruit, chocolate and other treats. I love it there.
I'm back in Bkk for a holiday in July and have just booked 13 nights at the PS. I've stayed in both the Solitaire suites and the regular rooms. Frankly, I dont think the suites are worth the extra cash, but that's just my opinion.
Here's a tip for you. If you use http://www.presidentsolitaire.com to book it the standard rooms are 2700++ for a night. If you call them direct, it's the same price.
BUT, go to http://www.asiahotels.com and you can get the same room for the equivalent of 2500++ a night. OK, not a huge saving, but it's a few more beers.
